Another hello from Horsham

Postby robflc » Thu Sep 01, 2011 11:18 pm

Hi All,
I've been meaning to join up for a while, since I know Tony C (Warthog) and he has told me about the excellent runs he has been on.
I have a "book" chassis locost, now with an 1800 zetec. I originally built the car in 2003 for the 750mc race series and raced for a few years, last in 2007. I SVA'd in 2009 and chucked in the zetec last year which is much more fun on the road and better on trackdays (down the straights). I'm interested in meeting like minded people, track time, and driving some new exciting roads which I'm sure means getting much further afield than i usually do.

crikey Horsham is a liitle hot bed for kit car enthusiasts, think its taken Maidstone areas mantle as the most 'kit populated' - or perhaps they just use theirs more ;)
Rob - as Neil said plenty of opportunity to get involved, as you can see the idea behind teh site is for members to post runs up - so whilst you're welcome to join in other members runs, don't be shy about suggesting any of your own.

maybe its the lure of the Horsham ringroad, no speed cameras and loads of roundabouts??

Those roads are going to imminently be terrorrised by Jim's "new" '67 Alfa Giulia Sprint GT, cannot wait to go in it..

Thanks for all the welcomes. Tony C tipped me off about Lydden so will come along with him tomorrow. Will be good to meet whoever's there. I'm also surprised how many kits are around here.
