Hi Guys, The names Dave, found you people from on a link on Pistonheads.
I'm building a Sebring Exault at the moment. Rolling chassis is finished, body is on and being fitted up. I hope to be finished by the end of the year and then book in early new year for the dreaded IVA .
Built it with a Chevy LS6 V8 and a tremec 5 speed box. Granada back axle.
Will probably be asking for lots of advice in the coming months.
Hopefully I will ready to meet some of you on a run out next year.
Dave

Hello Dave and welcome to SKCC.
Lots of knowledgable people on here surrounded by us numpties so feel free to ask away.
When you get demotivated come on a run with us. I'm sure someone will let you passenger. I know what you mean about the dreaded IVA as I have my car being tested on Monday next week so completely relate. But hey the worst that can happen is that it fails and I have something to fix. Just means I'm focused on that and one step closer to driving it.
Anyway welcome......... Neil

Re: Hello From Guildford
Hello from Guildford also.
I was where you are in about 2007, though it still took me another 18 months to get the Fury to SVA. Keep reading the IVA manual & looking at what you've done. Mine went through SVA rather than IVA, it was nerve wracking, but not a bad experience.
Personally I found getting it registered to be more of a faff as the DLVA don't seem to know thier collective ar5es from thier elbows - keep ALL receipts!
I don't do too many runs because of family comitments, but you're welcome to passenge with me if I'm going on a club blat.
Failing that, you may well see (or more likely hear) "Low Commotion" around town.
Tony
