Headlights for Tiger Cat

Postby Loonyspoons & son » Sun Dec 08, 2013 2:49 pm

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions as I'm thinking of changing my headlights on my Tiger Cat

I currently have 7" and was looking at these:

they're from furoreltd

Cheers

I would not bother especially if you are going to be using them in the dark!
You would be better off with a tea light in a jar.
They are nice to look at but useless as a light I just changed mine from Dominators to a 5.3/4" lamp with a Xeon type bulb.
I bought these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360772587584? ... 1497.l2649

What Bill said, they look great and will pass an MOT, but if you want to use them as headlamps I'd go for a pair of these; http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/product/5-3-4--f ... ing-black/

They're not as large as the 7", but put out a decent beam, I fitted mine with the uprated 'twice as bright' halogen bulbs and they're more than good enough

Tiger R6 - 2009-2014
Austin Healey Sprite - 2014-2018

Dominators for aesthetics and aerodynamics, but not for lighting the road.
