ERA30 in West Sussex

So you've just joined, why not say a few words to introduce yourself - a bit about you, your car - whatever!

Hi Nick, I'm new aswell, just joined last week after getting my first Caterham. I'm in Kent but hope to see you around when you get your car finished....look forward to seeing it!

So if there's a picture of it on the Tiger website with No. plates, so presumably street legal, what is it you're doing to it & when will it be finished?

There's a long list of modifications including:
1. Modifying the fuel filler to locate it on the forward side of the firewall rather than down by the exhaust manifold
2. Changing the front indicators so that they can be seen by oncoming traffic
3. Replacing the seats with Tillett B4s
4. Reworking the gear lever mechanism to accommodate the new seats
5. Fitting a more robust oil catch tank
6. A new exhaust manifold and silencer (Simpson Race Exhausts) to reduce the noise level to 92dB (from 105dB!)
7. Tidy up wiring to front and rear light clusters

Still to do:
7. Repair (probably replace) the starter motor and wiring
8. Fit an intertia cut-out switch
9. Steering wheel extension (the seating position is more laid-back and so the wheel is not quite out of reach

But I'm getting there!

Very nice, always followed the various 23 replicas, always wanted to build the Noble one.

Welcome.
