Hope to have my engine in 3 weeks if all goes to plan. i know your trying to get a group mapping session, im not sure if i can mapp before its run in, the builders can do that on their dyno but its £350.

As long as my car is mapped before April I can wait........ maybe if it gets us a good price!

There is a place up at Brands that Dave Walker recommends for Emerald (they do other ECU's to) so Tony, Kenton and I were gonna get a group deal. Mine won't need a full set up just a tweak this year which is why I don't really want to haul all the way up to Dave's but Kenton and Tony's will obviously need the full set up following the installs.

i'm going to the 2 Steves, as soon as mine is run in.....i think i know the place Walker is talking about and t be honest i'm not 100% sure - cos i think that its one and the same in terms of where i went for a tweak a cple of years back. not sre why Walker rec's Brands place over teh Steves? James had his last map done by them - so as far as i know they do Emerald, DTA, Omex......
hoping to go there in about 2-3 weeks.....

yes it is them Nick, and personally whilst i think theyre are very very good at the building side, i'm not convinced about the mapping ability - but i stand to be corrected. Maybe i'm wrong, but strikes me that there are folks that specialise 24x7 in RR and others that seem to do it as an add on.......remember a cerrtain kit manufacturer buying a RR a while back ? why ??
