Welcome, from a member of the Megasquirt fan club :D
Interested to know more about the engine setup. What's the supercharger? What's the expected power output?
Look forward to seeing it out on a run later in the year.

Is the pope - erm - retiring?

Drives generally start early & end at a cafe, for this reason you'll find the only thing limiting your miles with this club is the frightening cholesterol intake.

Buy yourself a copy of Complete Kit Car this month for a five page spread on one of our longer drives.

Welcome to the club :)

Your car looks in good condition in the photos :) , have you modified the rear suspension to cope with the power?

Hi again.

I wonder if I saw some members one Sunday morning. Loads of kit cars all joining up on the a29 where a town has a bypass. I was in a merc w124 stinking of veg oil. My wiring is pants. The loom is being cleaned up again on Sunday into trunking. Car was restored in 2008. The tuned engine went bang and it was left for years.

2012 Mazda engine went in. Its a mp45 mini supercharger. 180bhp expected with max 220 with a reducer pulley. Lol rear end changed ermmm no!

Poly bushed car. Lowered front and special lowering swing spring on the back. Gas adjustable shocks, mx5/prob mash up. Drilled discs and ecb pads with rebuilt calipers. I may need to go to bigger calipers and minutes 1144 pads for the power.

Look forwards to having a run out! I go to littlehampton once a week from Heathrow in my corsa but when spitty is done I will drive it around to work and stuff and leave corsa in LH.

I am very happy with my MS. I have a serial to bluetooth so want to use my android tablet with it. Will test on Sunday.

Neil: cogs whirring. Yes. ;)
Martin: got hold of a serial-BT adapter myself (ebay from China, less than a tenner). Works a treat with the Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7.0. Just need to mount the BT board behind the dash.

Means I could sit on the sofa and monitor the engine temperature after a run out   And watch the battery go flat...
