They should stay in tune pretty well - unless you're racing it & want absolute power - which seems unlikely. I have a four tube manometer balancer if they need doing.

The should stay in tune once rolling roaded correctly
It's then that the engine wares or leaks that causes issues

On an everyday runabout that you don't need max power in all the time then they are a waste and will just cost you fuel lol

But they sound magic

Thanks for all the advice with regards to the carbs.
I will get them set up at the garage and see how it goes, only using the car for a few jaunts so the set up may be not what I want. I will try and see if it is not too uneconomical.

Bulldog being rebuilt ...Should get it back next week..
