Well, it's been a while.
As some of you know 2019 was a pretty sh1t year for me, it started with my wife wanting a divorce, then I was made redundant, then on the 1st Sept I wrecked the love of my life, thrown into the air by a badly repaired road. It could've been mended, but not knowing where I would be living, let alone if I would have a garage at all meant I had to accept sending it for scrap.
Times move on, I now have a nice(ish) house with a SEVEN BY FOUR METRE garage - I'll say that again - SEVEN BY FOUR METRE GARAGE, a job paying me more than mine & my wife's previous salaries combined (though it's contracting, so could end tomorrow), I have got to know my son from my first marriage & he's given me a grandson & today - another big step on the road back, I've bought another kit. Second hand & really not in the same league as the Fury, but it'll give me something to play with while I'm saving up the money to buy the car I do want - when I work out what that is.
It's a Quantum 2+2 1400 CVH, so it has the Devil's own drive train (Front Wheel Drive) & it's a little ratty round the edges, but it was cheap enough to have some fun with & will get me out in the lanes & back in the SEVEN BY FOUR METRE GARAGE. It won't be taxed until the 1st Aug & the MoT runs out on the 12th so my return may be short-lived, but fingers crossed it passes, the job holds out, the money keeps coming in, I can find something I want to build & no bloody woman comes near me ever again!
