Hi

Postby SteveK » Fri Mar 19, 2010 6:37 pm

Thanks to Steve Hole advertising this site I've found you all.

I've only have a brief look around and have to agree with Richard P that the B3012 and the unclassified road to loop back towards Mytchett is a really great driving road, even if the trees are rather close and I don't think I've ever got a clear run, not matter how much I try to drop back and give myself space.

Are there any other favourite roads in the area I should be trying out?

Regards,
Steve

Well i'll leave the experts to shout out about roads in your area. I've been down to west sussex a bit over the past weeks and there's some beauties down there that really need to be experienced! Do you tend to fly 'solo' or do you have a little group that you get together with?
Activity in terms of members shouting out for a bit of company on a run on your side of the region is a little bit slow to get started, but then i guess we're just getting into 'the eason' for some folks.
Don't be backward in coming forward - any runs or meets, pop them on here and let's see if we can get that area involved :-)

and finally, glad that you find us through Steve H......

Welcome Steve,
PM me with any details of Points of Interest and or Good Eateries and I'll get them on the map. You can find a template of the info I need in the appropriate section.

Once again Welcome.

I generally tend to fly solo, unless out with the Quantum Owners Club, but only a couple of times a year with them. We're touring Scotland again this year, leaving the Newark Show on the Sunday to start the tour.

Might see some of you at Detling.

Steve

Steve,
If you're going to Detling then try and get to 7-Indulgence before hand as a number of us are meeting up there and then travelling to the show.

I probably won't be able to make that as one of my cars might end up on the Quantum Owners Club stand in the smaller hall (near all the Cobra's), plus I have all the club flags and banners, so need to be at the show early to get these up. Thanks for the invite any way.

Regards,
Steve
