Hello from Eastbourne.

Postby DJ. » Tue May 31, 2011 12:30 pm

Hello :)

I'm Duncan and I live in Eastbourne.

I heard about your club through the posts TigerMark has put up on Blatchat.

I built a Westfield Sei in 1990 (that makes me feel old!) it was registered Q197CMV in case anyone has seen it lately.
Then I swapped it for a 1971 Elan Sprint which I owned for 8 years until young children prompted me to sell it.

I'd always wanted a Caterham Seven since I was a boy, and last year circumstances finally allowed me to buy a new kit.
It arrived in November and after a very cold winter build (-2.5C in the garage before Christmas) I finished building my Roadsport 125 in March, and got it IVA'd in April and have just about run it in now :)

I hope to make it along to some of your meeting and runs in the future!

HI Duncan.
Hello from Bexhill and my 89 Marlin Berlinetta.
Hope to see you soon, perhaps on a run with the pack.
I am what is called a sheep when it comes to play with the wolves, so normally a rear end gunner.
Regards
BerlinettaFredie. ;)

Welcome DJ, very tidy - and clean! - looking car you've put together there. You'll have to either watch out for the farm tracks or be handy with the bucket and sponge if you come out on a run  I take it the long haired reprobates in the background were responsible for the demise of the Elan. Tiger have one up for sale at the moment, just under £10k, fully restored and.... wait for it ..... a nice shade of yellow! You could have a matching pair (sort of) if you fancied reliving that part of your youth as well.
