Lee, new member from London

Postby leegav » Tue Jan 17, 2012 12:10 pm

hello everyone,

i have had a tiger cat e1 2.1 pinto, twin 45s, coltec cam and coltec tuned for about 9 months now and loving it.

i was born in Leeds and joined the royal marines at 17 i am now 29 and left the forces around 4 years ago. i currently live in central london with my partner Chloe.
i now work abroad for around 6 months of the year as a self employed security consultant.

i am introducing myself as i have just sent Mark G a cheque so that i can get myself on the road trip in may... so will no doubt be seeing a few of you then... cant wait.
when i am home i am normally out most days in my car and if anyone is around my area or close, then i would be interested in maybe meeting up for night time blats around the city?
i wont be back in the uk until mid march/april so will try and get out and meet some of you before the trip in may...
look forward to meeting like minded people and making some new friends.
thanks
lee

Welcome :)

I'm sure you'll enjoy the trip, just wish circumstances meant I could go
How about a picture of your car?

Lee,

Welcome to SKCC, if the Road Trip is anything like last year (which I'm sure it will be), you'll enjoy getting the Tiger out of London onto great uncongested driving roads.

Hope to see you on a run before then.

Cheers Tony

thanks everyone,
my internet access is very limited here in a mozambique market motel ;) so you guys will have to wait for pics of the car until i get to a decent comnnection. still figuring my way around the website aswell so will be updating my profile over the next few days.
il try and get out for a run or two when i get back before may.... and yes it will be nice getting out of the city and planting my right foot for more than 5 seconds before a set of lights or a wave of "il do what the hell i want" cyclists or a handful of over interested "do you have insurance for that" part time PCSO's. lol
