Hi Guys and Gals,
I have just registered with you and this is to introduce myself. I have a Westfield Megabusa which I took along to the recent Brekkie Run at the Chalet Cafe Cowfold. Some say that the reason I took my car on a trailer was because it was raining but the real reason was because I found out the day before that the MOT had expired a week before. So I thought that rather than just turn up in the Tin Top, i would drag the Westfield behind. Boo Hoo.
Anyway, I met a lot of you chaps that apparently belong to the Southern Kit Car Club, so I did no more than to return home and sign up.
My MOT should be done this week along with a trip to PDQ to get the fuelling done on the Busa. Over this winter, i took the engine apart and fitted the new 1340cc crank to it. 2mm longer stroke for a bit more torque.
I will be travelling up to Stoneleigh on Sunday with the car so hope to see some of you there.
Cheers for now.

Must admit, was wondering who it was that bought it on a trailer - still looked good though !

Re: cosmick says Hello
the name Cosmick came from my racing days. i called my bike cosmick, the reason, cos mick owns it, cos mick rides it, cos mick falls off it etc etc. these days, i prefer Mike but the user name still suits me, cos mick now owns a Westfield. Lol

Mike, nice to see you've joined up.....thanks for explaining about the HID lighting system/conversion on yoru car, was tempted yesterday to make a purchase and then thought that Stoneleigh may be a better bet for that ( if i can squeeze anything else in the car for the return journey! ).
