Hello All,

Having just signed up, I thought I should say hello.

I am a Design Engineer (and ex toolmaker) who a couple of years ago decided to do something about the frustration of not making useful things in metal anymore!

I started looking at the Haynes Roadster as a project but ended up getting hold of a part complete Locost chassis from a fellow member on Locostbuilders.
I then proceeded to rework the frame with one to suit a Sierra IRS / Pinto/ Type 9 configuration. Body is all Al. alloy with the usual f/glass wings, nose & scuttle.
Timescale ? who knows! I use it as escape therapy..............

I see there a few other members very close and in the surrounding area so I may be in touch with you soon.

Chris

Hello and welcome.

We often pass through your area on some of the Sunday morning runs. Perhaps possible to organise a passenger ride some time if interested. You'd need to be a fan of full English breakfasts though.

Hi Chris, welcome to the gang. I live way up north in Grimsby. Wish I lived much closer as they are a great bunch and reading through the posts have plenty of interesting weekend runs. I love bacon butties and big full fat breakfasts too.

Hi Chris - very familiar story that, I'm an ex aircraft fitter turned Design Engineer who built a car for a little metallic therapy. Welcome aboard, If you don't fancy a stupid-early passenge, get yourself along to one of the post-blatt breakfast haunts & have a look round the cars.

Many thanks for all the welcome messages.

I'll keep an eye on upcoming events and try and get out to meet some of you.
At the risk of annoying SWMBO, if anyone is passing through Pulborough you're welcome to pop in for tea/beer etc

Chris
