Thanks for all the welcomes.
Can't wait to get the chassis and start attaching things!
Now have all the hubs, rear brakes, engine g/b, LSD diff and prop shafts ready to get cleaned up and ready for the chassis.
Had a good chat down at the factory today and discussed some modifications to the race chassis to suit me and my plans for it.
Very excited and also had a few laps of the Blyton circuit this morning.
Bring on the completed car!

Re: Building GBS Zero (Race)
If you're not all welcome'd out, welcome so more Henry.
Just read this, and said to my husband, "that's a coincidence, you were at GBS today, did you bump into another SKCC member?". So, my understanding is, you've met Paul, and also John - bad luck Think yourself lucky I wasn't there as well.
Paul says you're 8 feet tall, which is saying something, as he's not exactly short. So, I can guess what type of modifications are most pressing. On the recent track day we went to at Blyton, there was a GBS with an S2000 lump in it, which belonged to someone of similar stature. I think that was modified, and he still had bags of room, so the Zero seems to be able to cope with both ends of the spectrum. Like I said, you met John as well Sorry John

Yes, bumpted into John again and met Paul too. It's great to keep meeting more and more people.
I was out in the s2000 zero this morning at Blyton, Sam, who built it, is around the same 6'5" height as me and it seems to still have plenty of room which is great.

Re: Building GBS Zero (Race)
chassis arrives in 2 weeks - although having recently broken my collarbone and going in for an op this week, it may be some time before I am fit enough to get working on the chassis!
Photos will follow soon but for now; some of the parts I have collected.

Thanks guys, no op today, hopefully tomorrow or weds at latest.
Chassis should be collected on 30th of the month. Just trying to sort out some parts insurance while I build it. Figured it would be worth having....
