Hi All,

Just bought a MEV TR1ke which, for those who don't know, is a Yamaha R1-powered reverse trike. Eventually got it just in time for the bad weather, so haven't done many miles yet. I live near Herstmonceux, in East Sussex, and am looking forward to club runs in the spring, maybe the odd track day, and getting involved in the banter on here!

Spring? blimey there's 4months to go before we get to Spring - plenty of time for winter driving

anyway, welcome, and welcome with a first - don't think we've had a trike member before, and def not had one out on a run!
you just missed an evening get together at Pembury, but if there's a run out and you can't make the whole thing - why not just rock up for brekkie - think there's one ending at the Sovereign cafe at Bexhill this sunday morning.

Thanks! The idea of brekkie in Bexhill on Sunday sounds tempting. Where is the cafe and what time do you all meet there? Maybe I could join the route at some point before you get to Bexhill...?

Welcome Chris. I'm not usually a fan of trikes but that that looks great! Loving the nose cone and integrated aero screen - front end reminds me of a 60's Lotus F1 car.

Does it include any of the original bike chassis for the rear end? Is that the orginal bike rear wheel?
I can't imagine how something like this would handle. What is the driving experience like? Is it very tail happy?
