Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, just arrived back from Norfolk safe and sound, the drive was epic! Having never driven a kit car on the road, or driven on the road with a helmet on, it was a bit daunting, but once I set off, after about 5 miles it was a pleasant and comfortable experience, so easy to drive! Very surprised with the fuel economy, 130 miles and still have over half a tank! Could that be right? I was averaging 60-70mph as it was mostly A roads.. A1, A17 etc..
Can't wait to wake up tomorrow and hoping for sunshine! Considering stoneleigh seriously..

Yep, well done. It's a stange experience isn't it, "just" driving, & yet so much more involving.

Welcome to proper driving :D

Its a great feeling,...check the tank if can,jt may be great on fuel or be a big tank.....but its probs just a iffy guage!! i go with the bike method of driving untiill it ran out then using that milage as a guide...mine didthe same on the drive homefrome getting it! I though was super eco ...untill i realised it was all but empty when i tookthe fuel sender outto check it
Luego with a mighty 104bhp!!!

Paul,

Glad you got the car home safely and enjoyed it too. I reckoned on about 120/130 miles as the max before filling up, so just as well you didn't need to go further. The tank is the standard size for the R6, about 30 litres/6.5 gallons from memory. The car would usually do 25+ MPG. The gauge is OK to a point, but the reading is more of an estimation than a true reading.............
Tiger Cat E1 - 2008-2009
Tiger R6 - 2009-2014
Austin Healey Sprite - 2014-2018
Fisher Fury Le Mans - 2018-2019

PMs don't show up as "sent" until the person read it - should be OK.
