Hello from Hampshire

Postby Plunky » Mon Mar 28, 2016 5:59 pm

Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself to the club...
I've been pointed in your direction from a chap over at the locostbuilders forum.
My name is Liam, currently living in Waterlooville. My car is a Formula 27 powered by a 2.0 Zetec/GSXR TBs.
Had the car about 3 years now, most of which it has spent in the garage as I decided to overhaul the entire car and quickly found time was very limited. Good news though as the car is back up and running and should be back on the road in the next couple of weeks.
Would be great to come along to some meets, are there any local to Waterlooville?
Will get pictures up shortly...

Welcome to SKCC :D

Plenty of runs on here and some are to the west.
Remember, members are encouraged to post their own suggested runs, so if nothing suits you, feel free to suggest a run.

Pictures of your car will go down well too :)

Welcome to the club, hope you manage to get the car finished and the weather improves a bit so you can get some miles on it.

Welcome, funnily enough we were just discussing a run to loomies which isn't a million miles from you. Quite often you'll need to travel to get to the runs but they are well worth the early start! hope to see you out soon. phil

welcome Liam, as others have said, the Club is more about runs that fixed 'meet's, the runs you see in the members section are for anyone to arrange/join in with - seems this year a few folks have had their cars off teh road for winter - highly unusual, but guess that in the coming weeks a few more westerners will wake up.
hope to catch you out and about
Mark
