Aw look, some nice blue paint down each side and it could be in Team Gulf after all! Well done Lewis! Neat looking car. Be prepared for it to get a bit mucky if you come out with us!

oh no i dont do dirt!! im looking forward to my first run out with you guys,im holding off taxing it because of some winter mods planned im running a 2.1l pinto at mo but have a blacktop zetec waiting to go in,just getting the other parts req'd together and also want to fit a full rollcage.

I've just gone the same route (zetec). I've also fitted a full cage. Expect some flack on here from the fashion police regarding the cage as they are a "topless" bunch. I went for a bolt in so i can swap between the hoop and the cage depending on how i feel.

i have the engine,gearbox,zx6 carbs,1.8 zetec flywheel/clutch,correct starter motor,pulley for the waterpump.
lots of other parts to get but made a start,i am swaying towards a bolt in cage for the same reason any pics on cage fitment advice would be great and any info on pinto to zetec swap too

I'd better get a roll cage PDQ. I tend to stop traffic in my locale for the right reasons (lush car) at the moment, wouldn't do to be having the same effect for the wrong reasons! Can you get points for flashing?
