Re: Why I've been quiet
Quick update. Practical progress hasn't been quick as I am am working a contract at the moment during the week so Saturday is the only day I can get on the car.
On the planning and acquiring front progress is good.
I won't go into details on the purchasing element as SWMBO may get upset again. Suffice to say it is a main reason I am working a contract again!
The donor car is now completely stripped and all the donor parts are stored for now. You will notice the front has been cut off the shell, this is because the R engine runs clockwise and as my race shell is an S we have to swap out the mounts and fixings to turn the engine. The best way to do that is to take the entire front end so we can get the correct measurements from a datsun point. (Of course it was Dicks genius idea!).
The next job(s) are to scrap the R shell and non donor scrap, that will give me room to get the race car on the ramp and start stripping that. This should be a quicker job as everything is going in the skip.
If anyone wants any Honda Civic 1.6S parts (no body panels available) but interior, engine, wiring, 16" wheels then just let me know.

seems like slow progress.....a coffee, an angle grinder, 15 mins and another coffee, and sit back and admire the handiwork?
