The other alternative is to find a localish Sprint/Hillclimb and pitch up mid-morning and ask them to have a look. Just pick somewhere you can get into easily.

Ooo nice one Lee! There’s a good chance I will there to spectate as my mum doesn’t live fifteen minutes from there. Plus it’s her birthday that weekend.

It’s a great venue and I love watching hillclimbs. If anyone has the minerals for it, it has to be you

Wishing you all the best with your racing aspirations.

This happened last time I was there. I was just walking back down the hill with my nephew and this came in quite hard virtually in front of us.

I think he missed the corner.. Luckily last time i missed a corner like that there was a run off into a car park in italy somewhere....
Kenton will vouch..
I was thinking of my divorce as i took a corner at 40 or 50...lol

My goal is to enjoy the climb and bring the car back in one piece  :D

Lee, You're a braver man than me, look forward to hearing how you get on, and will hopefully be along to spectate sometime. The hill at Prescott in the Cotswolds is worth a look, quite technical, seen all sorts running up the hill there.

So.... Finally here..
Tomorrow im heading to SW for the weekend. Camping all weekend with a full days practice tomorrow to set the car up... Pete Parker is coming in his VDub camper to help me with timings and a bit of strategy... Ie...if the shortshifting on 2 of the fast corners and suspension adjustments make up any time..and how best to tackle the steep start section where of i spin up i could lose up to 2 seconds.
Weather looks ok for sunday but poss showers on saturday.
Am i nervous...not about the hill...more about failing scrutineering. The time money and 10 people coming to see me have put a bit of pressure on but hey ho...thats all part and im sure all who enter any even go through this phase.
Huge huge thanks to Jay for calling and wishing me all the best...completely unexpected and shows the friendliness of the club... Dont think ive been to snodhurst since 2012 or 13. Thanks Jay..much appreciated.
Kit and tools all packed...they have been since a week on sunday ago.. juat gotta let the bbq cool down and pack that.. 8-)
There are 4 other cars in my group...2 caterham 310s. 1 2litre westfield and a renault gt turbo all in the SBD speed championship. So all been well i think i might be in with a chance of a good result if i drive like i did at the school.
Il be in shed 43 of anyone else is in the area all weekend.. Then sunday night me and Paul V are heading to Donnington for a track day and a night in a hotel! Oh dear what could go wrong with us two...
Will keep this post going all weekend with updates and photos...
Cheers guys...
