anyone else going to be glued to the box this weekend?
I've managed to watch most of the practice and quali over the past 2 days, you couldn't make up some of that stuff!
local driver Conway getting airborne after a daft pull back onto the racing line by a spinner at the Ford Chicane....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_fTSnvs9rc
spinners, cars going here, there and everywhere....cars other than Toyota taking the kudos for the highest speeds down the Mulsanne, AND......fwiw, a Aston heading the timing for GT Pro.
Beer check, sausages check, bacardi check....looking forward to a 24hr sprint ( cars not me)

Re: Le Mans
looks like the ACO fucked up the BOP for the Astons....that'll teach them to take pole in quali only to get a nice little BOP penalty.

So impressive. How they rebuilt the front of the rebellion when it snapped into the barrier at silly speeds around 8pm. Programme went to an ad break when it pulled into the pits, then returned as it was going back out on track.

Yep It was unbelievable Steve, must have been doing 200mph at the braking point. Luck must have been on their side with the front exploding, the wheels seemed to still be pointing in the right direction.
Total respect to the pit crew.

Re: Le Mans
Tom Pickering the pit manager of our Fun Cup car ran this car at Le Mans
I think it had a big accident during the race.
