David

That's a shame but we've all got to subsidise Santa this time of year!

I've got CKC's Llandow bash booked but I'm hoping to do something before then. Let me know if you are planning anything and I'll join you if I can.

Enjoy the festivities.

Chris

Is it a good circuit? Just looking a google maps and ut looks kinda short and boring to me?

Also, do CKC actually check if yr a subscriber or not?

It is a short, tight circuit but quite well suited to kit cars, although your beasts might want a bit more room to stretch their legs! The upside of this track day is that it's just for kits, so plenty of people to chat with in the paddock and other kits to look at. You also don't get stuck behind Saxos and Minis etc. You can book on the website and you get a discount if you subscribe, about £20 I think. They also do one at Blyton later in the year.

I (re) subscribed last year as the track day saving paid a good part of the cost of the magazines.

As said, not a big circuit, but well suited to our sort of cars. In the afternoon there can be just a handful of cars out and you get plenty of space. Some very tight bits around the bus stop are good fun in a kit - sort of bit where changing direction quickly you'd leave a tin top dead.

Give it a go. The craic and take away at the campsite night before are part of the fun.

It is short but you can get to know it and be really pressing on by the end of the day. And as others have said really suits the kit/7 well. Definitely not a power circuit but that again suited my car. It's a fun weekend and the standard of driving and track etiquette is much better than a lot of track days I've been on. Obviously it depends on what you've driven and where in the world. It's a bit more like a kart circuit and less Silverstone GP but personally I think it's a great little circuit.
