Halfords

Anyone got any experiences of working for them, in store or the workshops, rate of pay, conditions of service etc.

This probably isn't much help, but one of my patients used to run our local Halfords about 15 years ago. He didn't like the company and left to become a plumber.

Keep well away Rich, crap pay and work all hours. There are owned by share holders so they want there return asap.

Err, if they weren't they'd be Nationalized ? Imagine that, be like catching a train; Leaves on aisle 3, too hot for anyone to work on the 5th/6th/7th August ( we only get 3 properly hot days a year), winter nowt would happen as there'd be ice in the aisles.
