New tablet with more memory so I can use mobile lightroom. Using this current time to practice processing skills amongst other things. Revisiting old mediocre images and giving them a bit of a makeover. A before and after of a BMW taken around Brands Hatch.
Any before and after shots from others?

That's has really brought out the checkered pattern on the BMW, very vibrant over the original Mike

So I got my self a new lappy which came with a few different fetchers for changing photos. So the same as Mike the original is the first one, then 2 variations after that.

I like the middle one Colin, it reminds me of my old family pics from the 70s with the washed out effect.

I'm impressed with the improvement in the BMW Mike, you know I'm not a fan of post processing, but it is much better
I know what you mean Steve, there is something nostalgic about the colours in Colin's middle photo, but I do prefer the other two.

Thanks Duncan, I think the trick is to not overdo it and make it look too processed. Dark and white cars seem to look the worse, probably due to the metering used on the camera.
Funnily enough I quite like the original of Colins, not a bad effort straight from the camera.

Re: Image processing.. Before & After
Thanks guy's.
I have been working on some photo's from when Sue and myself went to Lake Como last year or was it 2018.
I have got a couple of photos that I did a few years ago and got them printed on canvas so now im looking to do the same with a couple more.
A question though, I have cropped one of my photos to make it look they way I want it to, but I want to blow it up to 60 x 24 inch, how would I know if that then becomes out of focus ? being of a larger size, I am running 24 mega pixel camera.
This is the photo.

If the image is already in focus it should be fine. You can check by zooming in a bit. Images tend to pixelate when over enlarged rather than go out of focus so it depends on the size of the crop, a light crop should be ok to blow up to that size.
You could add some clarity and sharpness in post processing which may help.

I have altered the photo a bit with clarity and light but I could look at doing a bit more just cover what you said earlier.
Thanks Mike
