MK Sportscars HQ

After a work’s supplier meeting today, I realised that MK Sportscars (and Kit Car Direct) were only a minor detour away. So a visit had to be done.
Neil and Sean, who run the business, were really welcoming and offered me a cuppa tea within about 60 seconds of walking through the door. That’s a thumbs up in my book.
They gave me a tour of the workshop, including the cars they are working on, and the RX-5 development. MK are clearly very busy and fully booked until end of February. Even so, they spared me 2 hours of their time and including talking through what I am looking for.
Basically Neil and Sean seems like two experienced kit enthusiasts, with plenty of build experience, who have turned their hobby into a business. They have been sensible enough to diversify the company by providing CEC and BEC kits, factory builds, servicing/modifying other manufacturers cars (they had two Caterhams in and a Westfield) and providing a mail order business.
All in all, very impressed and I will be strongly considering MK in future.
