Credit to the guy, some nice photo work there.

I did some of these roads last year and enjoyed every minute of it.

I MUST go back there in 2012, sod the weather, life is passing by too fast.

I have been planning in my head for a number of years "Tour UK" taking in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with the Isle Of Man TT course en-route. Would be an amazing trip if I ever get round to it. Wales has some stunning roads, and the west coast of Scotland looks absolutely awesome.

Don't miss the rest of Ireland from that trip. The west coast is amazing and you have to drive the Healey Pass, especially if you're trying to catch the main group. Along with the Irish Kit Car Club, the Quantum Owners managed to bring Donegal to gridlock, by holding a small show on the triangle. Continuing round the coast from Ireland into Northern Ireland, following the coast road is a must.

For tunnels, the A55 is the best route to the ferry to Ireland ;)

In Scotland, I'd recommend the Isle of Skye, especially when the person leading the convoy it dieing for a pee - the pace just kept getting faster all the time :D Wick to John O'Groats at 7am, yup it's quite a rapid run, especially when you left Land's End not that many hours before. The A9 from Inverness to Perth is a great overtaking road, just watch for the hidden cameras - roadsigns don't have 3 legs, as I found out to my cost many years ago, but the sight lines round the valley road are great.

Regards,
Steve

I did Scotland many years ago. Got as high as Wick and for me the Trosics are stunning. Also I'm not suprised they haven't found the Lock Ness monster when you see how big the "lake" is :o

Mind you the way the current challenge conversations are going round Britain sounds like a 2 day challenge... 2 1/2 tops ;)
