Late summer run out with the mrs

Hi Guys

Thought I would take advantage of the weather today and get the mrs out in the car, started out about 11am this morning and had a ponder down towards Hastings, taking in a good few back roads.
On arrival parked up on the front and had a wander got a bag of chips and took in the atmospher, before making our way around to winchealsea, & Pett level, rye, lyd ring, dungeness, and then back up through Tenterden, Maidstone, Wrotham and back home.
Took a few pics on the way, done 153mls in total got 33.2 mpg.
Got back around 6.30pm, had a good day and a brucie bonus cos the mrs loved it as well. Nice leisurely drive she said.
But now I think i got gearbox gremlins its beginning to rumble on overun and when hot i'm getting a clunking at low speeds like excessive backlash.
So I think I will Kodac this one for a while and let it develope.
Other that that a good day out.

sounds like a cracking day out Bill and some great pics as well.
Shame about the problems and the need to lay it up as you were getting back into the grooves and the good weather as well.
