As title, hooked up with Mark for another photo opportunity, this time in the kits. Nice to get out in them as we both hadn't been out for a while due to mechanical issues of one sort or another. Cold but a great morning.
My best work yet,. , something for everyone, grunge, HDR, black and white and a bit of colour..

Thanks Dick, had an idea and took quite a few of the crates, though in practice it was tricky to get what I wanted. Mark took a few also, so it will be interesting to see what he did with the crates.

Re: Whitstable
Enjoyed that Mike. Was good to get the car out for the first time in ages, and good that it wasn't on a 'blat'....clearly got a few adjustments to make to the set up, as you heard I ground out more than usual.
Brekkie was tasty too - ta for that.
Some great shots up above, i think my fav is the 3rd and i also for some reason am drawn to the boxes.. and the gulls. Thing with a place like that is that combined you get the full story; active fishing harbour, produce, plenty of gulls due to the 'trippers' and local fare.....
Interestingly Mrs G picked fewer 'fav's' than on past occasions. Just goes to show how we all see things & like different things. She def wasn't a fan of the 3 that follow ....the shellfish, whereas combined i thought they worked well.

Re: Whitstable
Oyster shots are great. Under the Jetty, another good shot, Juicer shot is a good angle, worth taking the fall for..
I think the general harbour shot with the rope is another great shot, expect its crooked not sure if it would be better straightened??
The Crates shot is the sort of shot I was looking for and the best one of the bunch, imo it would have been perfect if there was one of the boats in the blurred background, but you cant have it always.
Great efforts Mark.

Some good shots there both. Interested how much of the editing is done on the camera, and how much after on the PC, what software are you both using?
