B D Engineering - Carb setup.

I put my Tiger back together after a 9 year layover in a garage, including rebuilding the engine and she just did not run very smoothly, or idle much.

So off to B D Engineering in Newington I went. Andy had previously ran a couple of my cars on his dyno, which diagnosed issues, but I went primarily for his expertise in setting up Webers.
After an hour and a half, my car now idles smoothly and reliably at less than 1k revs, gone is the popping and banging at low throttle openings and general misbehaviour! The carbs are perfectly setup, by a combination of Andy's knowledge of how to setup and the use of his dyno.
Additionally, I now know that she started off at only 107bhp and ended up with 152bhp at 6,200rpm and still pulling!

So if you need any setup, diagnostic or dyno work, give BD a shout.

Alex.

P.S. No ties with the garage, no family connection, no discount given (or asked for), just a happy customer.

He did say that he would be surprised if it was just a cam and carbs, there must be something else done too. I'll just drive and enjoy!
