Anyone bought any recently and have a good supplier? It seems to me that there are:
1. Cheap rod ends being sold cheap
2. Decent ones being sold for decent money
3. Cheap ones being sold for the money of decent ones!
4. Decent ones being sold for stupid money!
A fish on Locost Builders and a few phone calls and it seems these guys are decent suppliers.

The ultra high performance ones are lasting well apparently. As per my metalastic bush post make sure you know if you are metric or imperial.

These are the ones I'm going for. Look at the radial static load specification near the bottom. That's higher than joints I've seen this week (by well know kit car manufacturers) at £50 each!

They don't seem bad prices Dan. I would steer clear of the bronze insert one. They'll wear out in no time.

They are not really for road use as they should be kept clean and lubricated regularly.
OK they look good easy to adjust and we all have them but they are a throw away item.

I agree, but I've got no choice, I have 4 on each side at the front! I can also see the consequence of bad lubrication. Rust and dirt sets in, the joint moves, a void is created and they move! Only one joint is bad and I think thats because it won't budge. I think the previous owner must have replaced the others. An angry grinder and these are the solution.

Re: Choose your rose joints wisely
It's a good idea to check all joints, Rose joints, polybushes etc. It doesn't take long for them to seize up and put additional stress on wishbones. There's been quite a few cases of wishbone bush tubes snapping!

No squeaking, but I have play in one of the joints. Since I've already refurbed the lower bones I may as well do the top ones.
