As i understand its tax free Sunday and the weather is supposed to be cracking.So its a definite for me to me there.just need my new plug leads and give the alternator a clout before going..

I may take the mini if a) my new tyres arrive and b) Elaine is all better after her small op tromorrow.
I am going to take the mini to the Grasshopper this Friday but it is rollin' on 1960's tread patten Dunlop Aquajets ( albeit made in the 1990's and normally fitted to my mates 70's Innocenti cooper S for shows only ). I am not saying they are poop, but you only need to look at the accelerator and the revs flare like the clutch is knackered! A return visit to Goodwood will result in either a crash or one of the tyres will explode! Have a set of tiny fat 10" Yoko 32R's on order in supersoft compound, but I think they are on a slow boat from Japan....

OK, I have no new tyres but all things being OK with Elaine I will be going to the tax-free meet, albeit driving down sensibly.... 
Will be in my 1971 mini, hopefully meeting my mate Paul in his 70's Italian Innocenti Cooper S at Godstone then onto meeting Jim Giblett in Horsham. He should be in the '67 turbo-nutter-bastard Alfa Romeo.
I imagine I will be leaving junction 6 M25 Godstone at about 06.30. , Horsham at 07.00, Goodwood 08.00.
As a side, I will not be going to the Grasshopper pub night this Friday, neither will Jim.
