I have a westfield silvertop sump on my blacktop.

I remember Raceline asking which side I wanted the starter. I thought these sumps are the same for either engine as they both use a Silvertop gasket. Ie blacktop is same as silver after lower crank case is removed to leave justbthe block.

Different windage tray or strainer from memory, Dick will know.

Left or right starter is for the different type 9 bell housing they did standard nearside starter or the RS2000 one that had near side and offside starter positions . I think RWD Motorsport still make these bell housings . And that gents is why Raceline ask the question.
I did see one that only had a offside one but think it was home made as it look a bit crap.
