Yep, it was me. It started when the Dax Rush Owners Club were asked to fill in numbers but only I turned up and then I tagged along for a few years. All seems to have gone quiet on that front.

So I have re-listed it on Pistonheads and have two enquiries. One from Germany and another from Holland. They seem genuine enough and the German guy (Klaus) is coming over in a week's time and if he likes it, will buy it for cash in Euros. OK, I know about scams but I am going to cash his money in my bank before he has the car so I know the notes are genuine. All questions have been about the car and as I say, seems genuine as he is arranging insurance, ferry booking, etc. He does say he is buying it for a friend, though. It seems strange to me that he would arrange his insurance and book a ferry in case he did not like it.

As far as I can see, if I have cleared cash and register the V5 as 'exported' things should be OK. So, has anyone had similar experience (ignore Singapore guy) and what is your outcome? Am I being stupid? (I am not giving out my bank account details.)
