Despite the nice website, it seems that no-one is actually producing triton seats, loads about it on the locost builders forum

How about the local guy...and Steve is a nice bloke as well.

Slightly more expensive than the GRP ones....

The B4 is basically the same as the seat Caterham have in their top models (Tillett make them for Caterham).

Not sure if they've come up already but I'm considering these MK seats http://www.mksportscars.com/parts-interior.html and they'll fit my Tiger

I think Tillett are massively (not "slightly") over priced at £460 ea

Pays your money and takes your chances. I don't think any of the other companies listed (apart from Tillett) make an FIA homologated seat as a for instance. Tillett have an excellent reputation in Karting and Car Racing circles as they have done a lot of development and ergonomic work. In that context £460 (or nearly £2K for the 3.5Kg Kevlar FIA seat) is justified. As you say not for every one.

Well following said cheque from the government clearing (they DO have money) and assuming I don't come across anything better at Autosport (assuming I get time to sneak off the stand) JK Composites will be getting my order next week!!!!

Play time can resume ready for March!!!! (all being well)

Now you've sorted out your seats, we can quite happily go off topic :D

Be interested to know what you (and anyone else going) think of Autosport this year. We're not going this year. Didn't think it was quite as good last year, and that combined with the cost of tickets, and the ever increasing NEC rip off parking, means we got to the tipping point. I wish they'd go back to the old days when you could just by a show ticket, and the Live Arena was separate. If you never go near any other "motorsport" it's probably fun, but it doesn't do anything for me - especially as they don't even let you eat your sandwiches in there! We'll be off to Race Retro in Feb though.

Anyway, when you get back, thoughts please?
Linda
