Yep. it’s for sale. As some know I’ve the option to retire next June, so have been working through a few options, real estate looks the way to go and some options have came up sooner than anticipated. so need to out the car and live on bread and water for a while.

Registered 2006’ish on a donor “G” reg. Correctly registered on the V5. 1 years MOT.

Rebuilt 3.5 engine currently going in it, new Clevite mains and big end bearings, new oil pump internals and relief valve. Cyclone cam, new lifters, Cloyes timing chain and sprockets. Full injection with mega squirt and VAG coil packs 185-190bhp. No britpart rubbish fitted.

Bosch 044 hp pump with facet lift pump to swirl pot

As new R380 gearbox supplied by Ashcroft transmissions. As fitted to Morgan’s, TVR’s etc. Quaife 3.14 lsd new 2017, done very few miles.

Wilwood 6 pots with custom bells and rotors front. Sierra discs and calipers rear.

Jk composites Seats, 4 point harness. Drivers seat is cut down.

It is kept in storage which doesn’t help it cosmetically (damp) so needs some love and attention if I don’t sell here then I’ll smarten it up and advertise wider. With a higher asking price.

Price is £7500 firm.

If someone is interested then they can have the option on a newly rebuilt 4.6 with top hat liners, brand new crank, new bearings, pistons and Newman cam. Merlin heads, Act induction system with ported inlet and matched bigger bore plenum. Big injectors trigger wheel, crank sensor etc ready to run. Will include hella terra roller rockers though spacers will need to be made to clear the rocker covers. Or run standard gear with outriggers (supplied)

The heads and induction would cost you £4.5k alone.

Spec is pretty much the same as Kenton’s with an estimated 300-350bhp.
£3500 if bought with the car.

Thanks Kev, its evolution mate, we'll see how things pan out and no doubt get another toy or two along the way.

Cheers Colin, not expecting a quick sale, happy to keep it if no interest. Will still be around regardless.

Mike, Shame the car has to go, but if it helps you to retire early, it's a sacrifice well worth it. Similar plans influenced the sale of the Fury, I don't know about your job, but there's just too much b#llshit in mine. Good luck with your plans.
Cheers
Tony

Thanks Tony, same as.. the smells rotten lol. The actual job is pretty good at the moment and I can go on a full pension at 55. I’m heading your direction tomorrow where there may be an offer in the table which will keep me at work a little longer. Hoping to do something for myself when I do finish as I don't want to get into the waiting for god mentality. Swmbo wants to get a couple more rentals for now and an opportunity has come up, though selling the car isn’t a deal breaker tbh.
