Engine Preheater.

This device is inserted into one of the Heater pipes and is connected to the Mains. There is a length of Mains cable included so that you can have the connector somewhen handy (in the Cockpit?) so that you don't have to lift the Bonnet to plug it in.
The idea is that it heats the water in the Block and Heater. This (should) result in easier starting and less time on Choke. This (should) result in less wear and improved mpg (This is the manufacturers blurb, not mine).
Useful for stored vehicles that you want to start occasionally to circulate the oil to recoat the parts. Also for vehicles used in situations where you don't have time to allow warmup e.g. racing.
