I’m selling my 2.1l Pinto engined Dax Rush due to nearly completing another (Rush) build.

Built by me and fitted with a Pinto OHC engine (originally from a 2l Cortina) but bored out and fully balanced to 2.1l by Specialised engines. Also fitted with a fast road cam and it now has an unleaded head fitted.

The gearbox is a Sierra 5 speed.

The car has only done 27,500 virtually all dry miles and is being sold with a full tonneau and matching boot cover. Carpeted throughout in grey Wilton carpet with matching dashboard. Professionally trimmed two tone seats with burgundy piping. Exterior colour is Burgundy.

Extras include a detachable luggage rack, spare wheel carrier, glove box, heater and retractable seat belts. The side screens are tailor made by me to provide a large clear screen area unlike the restricted view standard side screens. Genuine 2CV headlamps.

MOT until June 2012 and taxed until 30th September.

Kept in its own dry garage all its life.

Trying to but Pistonheads seems to have technical difficulties when submitting an advert.

Debating on eBay but not really sure on that medium.

pleased for you Richard, someone has just got a super car......

He lives and works in Singapore but spends a month or so a year in Maidstone. He used to have a Westfield (but has a better car now!).

So, I had better get on and finish my current build. I'm doing the trim now before stripping it down to paint chassis and re-build it for next April when it WILL go on the road.

Thought I recognised this car, saw you at the Bat and Ball near Wisborough Green about 3 years ago! It was at a Westfield club meeting.
