WANTED: Scrap lengths of steel

Hi Guys,

Not a very exciting post in the wanted section! I am doing alot of electrolysis at the moment (on rusty car stuff not my legs!) and have run out of sacrificial steel for the anodes. Does anyone have lengths of scrap steel from a chassis build that are cluttering up the garage they want to get rid of? Ideally not galvanised or any stainless due to the production of toxic waste!! I'm hoping to get to Amberley on Sunday so if you have spare scrap stuff that will fit in your car I could pick it up from you. Looking for lengths about a foot long or so either tube or sheet. May be some beer money in it if required!

(get in quick before someone else does).....I've got a whole chassis...

I can sort you out with a few bits..4 x 1ft lenghts of 25mm or 19mm tube and pop them to Amberley, if thats any good to you.

Wish I had found this method of rust removal before I spent ages trying to stip down an MX-5. Dig big hole in garden, fill with water and washing soda, park the car in it (minus engine and gearbox), apply power , leave for a week and then spend a few hours pulling the car to bits!!

Next time maybe?
