Hi
what do you guys use for the side screens, as I would like to make a pair, for my 7
what material is it, as Perspex is a bit thin and brittle
also, there was someone on here, who could "lazer cut" them
any one remember who that was ?

What you need is Polycarbonate (or Lexan - trade name). My deflectors are 4mm thick.
I bought it off Ebay as A3 sheets & cut it with a jigsaw - but keep the speed down or it melts & clags up the blade, you can also heat & bend it, I used a hot air paint stripper.
If you want it cut to a template look for a local company that does water jet cutting.

A second vote for polycarbonate, just don't attempt Perspex

Very easy to cut with ordinary saw. Fine sandpaper gives smooth finish afterwards. Easy to drill too.The expensive non s ratchet version is, I suggest, not needed.
