1965 Austin Healey Sprite 1380cc - £7,500

So I've decided its time for a change so the Sprite is for sale. The additional power from the 1380cc engine and improved suspension and braking make this Sprite great fun to drive, and would make it suitable for hill climbs and sprints, though I’ve never competed the car. I’m only selling the car because I fancy a change. I can supply full details on request, but the headlines are as follows;
• Bare metal re-spray in the late 1990s, paint work refreshed in 2013,
• 1380cc ‘A’ Series by Steve Harris Motor Engineering
• Kent 276 camshaft
• Gas flowed MG Metro cylinder head, 9.6:1 compression ratio.
• 1.5:1 Roller tipped rockers
• Baffled sump
• Lightened/balanced flywheel
• Twin 1½” SU HS4 Carburettors
• Aluminium “KAD” 4 piston front brake callipers, Mintex M1144 pads
• Lowered suspension front and rear
• Type 9 5spd Frontline gearbox

That's a shame Tony, its a great little car and I love seeing it around. That's the sort of car I want later on in my life.

Thanks Colin, you could always buy the Sprite and lay it up 'til you're ready! I'm looking to get back into kit cars, but no decisions yet.

Now sold, and a bit sad, when the new owner drove off, resisted the temptation to chase him up the road "Oi that's my car"..........
