i notice many kit cars have tell tale lights above electrical switches...
is this an IVA requirement ....(appart from handbrake and ignition,) just in process of getting wireing redone , i have rocker switches that have LEDs in them ..

I don't think so. If you need the switches labelled CBS do sheets with all the symbols on, but apart from the obvious warning lights I don't think there's a requirement.

I've been told that everything needs to be identifiable, so it either has a separate label or a symbol on the switch. I asked a guy on the Westfield stand at Stoneleigh about this because I noted they had several switches unmarked on their demo cars - he said the labels 'fell off' after IVA
