More than likely, see you at the greasy spoon, wouldn't mind taking a cheeky peek under the bonnet of the Dax if that's ok Chris?

Thanks for organising the run out today chris/duncan. It was a good route although I did start half way. The breakfast was good and quick to arrive too. Nice to meet you chris and see you all out again soon.

Well done for calling out your first run Chris, it turned out well :)

The forecast looked pretty bad a few days back, but it was dry all the way if a bit nippy after yesterday.
I drove into the Starbucks car park at the meet point completely missing Chris's car in the petrol station, sorry. After the introductions Russ and I checked out the beast. A very nice Dax with Rover V8 and over 300bhp, it even has a Tomtom built into the dash.

Soon we were off, and there was virtually no traffic out this morning. I think the forecast had put a lot of tourists off visiting the south coast today. We made good progress with no real incidents apart from Chris introducing a cyclist to the aroma of tyre smoke :D

Soon we were at Mark Cross and meeting Matt for a chat, it was an ideal place to meet with plenty of safe parking. Here are the pictures as evidence:

Then off to the cafe via the Stonegate and Punnets Town roads. As we pulled on to the A21 a long lorry was ahead with a car behind. Just as I was settling back for a leisurely last couple of miles, a blue Dax belted past at warp factor 9 taking me, Matt, the car and the lorry in one go. It made an impressive noise........Kenton you have competition.

Nice to see Mike and James at breakfast, food was quick and good for the price 9/10.
Good company as always, nice to see you enjoyed your first run Chris. Just need a Tomtom and then a radio :D

By the way, the way you left the cafe certainly got everyone's attention!

Nice to pop out and grab some breakfast in good company. Russ' car looks extremely tidy and nicely put together. Chris' Dax is pretty brutal. Cafe wasn't bad the service was unbelievably quick, the six of us in the queue, James and I at the end, as we sat down, Matt and others had their breakfasts in front of them, quality was pretty good for the price as well, bit of a bikers cafe by the looks of it, though nothing wrong with a few kit cars and a V8 on the rev limiter,
