All the photos are superb and really bring home why you all do these trips. Great to see so many people enjoying them selves even when the weather got very wet, it seemed you still had a smile on your faces.
Brilliant.

Re: Rogue Runners 16 Photo thread.
NOTE TO MARK - it seems the forum assumes you're taking 4:3 images if they are landscape, and appears to be truncating them a bit. It's not me taking crap photos - well, not that bit anyway.
Seems I got a few photos. I thought I hadn't, due to inclemency, but here you go. I tried to do this at the weekend, but lost it all when I realised the new attachment thingy would only allow me to do 5 photos. So, I had to start again and do it the old fashioned way. Doh! Please note, Duncan's been fab and said where he took all his. I mostly don't have a clue
surprise
Cluttering up the petrol station at the meet point for me and Brian.

Brekkie stop. Us, and a tractor, driven by a child. Given the roads we went through later in the day, I think he actually had the right idea...

Having a bit of a park up in a picnic spot waiting to see if Henry was going to arrive after the initial onset of his overheating problems.

Bit more parking - pit stop for hoods up. Or, just turn the heater up a notch if you're Roger

Boulders.... well, a few small ones. Anyone want to resurface a road, I have about half a mile's worth of the chippings that go on top in Tiger. We think they are also responsible for the "puncture" in Steve's bike suit (all the gravel in the seat rubbing a hole). Duct tape came to the rescue there, he has a comedy silver cross on his rear

Brian blocking us all in

Henry in "car no. 1"

Just realised this is Matt temporarily without his cycle wing. Tiger seal had failed on shiny chrome stays. Cable ties came to the rescue for the rest of the trip.

Me! Never get photos of me in my car, so Roger very kindly took a couple for me.

Bob turned up for breakfast on whatever day it was supposed to be. I'd been watching for him. I just kind of ran off and abandoned brekkie when he arrived because I was super keen to see his Martini'd up Quantum. Wasn't disappointed, and he obviously got the memo and parked next to Tiger so I could get a shot of two iconic liveries together. I am rocking my joint SKCC T-shirt today, very fine it is too, thank you Bob.

And another one of Bob's car. Can you tell I'm a fan?

Bit of scenery #1. This was just over the way from the place where I took the last shot of the Quantum. Some clever person will know what it is, but I thought it looked interesting with the island in the background - or is it Nessy....

Ice cream was yummy, so many flavours to choose from. Getting in and out of the car park in a low slung car not so easy. Many thanks to Henry who acted as "button presser" at the machine on the way in.

Managed to get a few shots without the hoard of Dutch bikers who were also present at this fantastic viewpoint. Lots of touring bikers this year, only a handful of race bike types.

Midgy heaven at the Clan MacDuff hotel. There were actually warnings about "the summer problem" in the rooms and advice on not opening the windows. We had a very entertaining Romanian waitress at dinner, trying to improve her already amazing English. Not sure taking lessons off us lot was a good plan.

This was one of those lakes you see photos off in magazines and think it can't be real. You don't really get the effect here, but the reflections of the surrounding hills was amazing. Think we parked up here just before, or after, the business with the wind turbine blades.

In the car park at "Lorna Doone" castle

And the castle itself - I know, boring, no cars.....

Applecross - made it! Of course, we had to park somewhere random at the top, and not actually in the car park. Probably just as well, that would have meant a damn great Tescos lorry in the piccies

Who says BECs don't have reverse gear
We made a special effort to find a little craft/coffee & cakes place that we'd come across last year after Applecross - only to find the lady no longer did coffees and the awesome flapjacks we had before.

Brian taking a photo - wrong direction, car's behind you !!

I like Matt's car too, so I seem to have got a few photos of it.

In one of the many, many passing places on the road up to John O'Groats - the Motorway Highway!

Yay, made it to John O'Groats!! Thank you to Henry, again, for taking everyone's photos for them at the sign post, including mine.

Comfort break stop, and convenient mini clearing for a "turn around where possible" route after we went off piste a bit due to one of the many road closures on Kielder Forest day.

Steve checking the satnav. On further investigation, I don't know how he saw anything, it was completely condensated up inside (is that a word? 'tis now) He asked the girlie at that evening's hotel for a bowl of rice in an attempt to cure it. Not sure if it survived..

And that appears to be it! Thank you for watching, as they say.

Great photos Linda
Crikey, those boulders are incredible, you must have hundreds on the floors.
By the way, Bob's T shirts are great and make a super souvenir, but I was glad my wife used a "colour catcher" because it came out very red!

Fantastic photos Linda. As I said on Facebook it really shows the difference between a proper camera and a phone. Colours are amazing in all the pics. The castle one in particular is impressive. The cars all look great. Thanks for the nice words about the Q.
By the way in Scotland we call them Lochs not Lakes. You know how we like to be different
T shirts turned out pretty good although a bit on the large side. Tuck them into your trousers and they keep your bum warm
Roll on next year.
