Hi all,

Hi Rob hope your well.

I have been taking around 12 -15 days a year from 25 to come on SKCC trips and this year I have been told by other half to reduce it which is one of the reasons I've pulled out of euro and Wales.
I'm up for russets idea of more shorter trips one nighters over weekends etc.

Alps, euro and Wales are enough for me with the amount of leave I have, of course would love to attend every trip but that's impossible....

Long weekend trips would be good and I was thinking a few simple single night blats might be good as well - so something like a dawn raid out of the South East on a Saturday culminating somewhere interesting for lunch (e.g. Brecon Beacons), afternoon blat/tour-of-sights ending at a hotel, then the reverse the next day heading homeward.

Basically a smattering of events that don't take loads of planning and days off work etc.

I've thought of something else to add to this... the catalyst for any given weekend could be some sort of event we could go and check out, such as a hillclimb (Prescott, Shelsley Walsh, Loton Park...) or car events like Cholmondeley Pageant of Power. The focus would still very much be a '24 hour tour in kit cars' but with the added bonus of something to watch or provide an interesting lunch venue for example.
