Will try to actually get to some of the runs and meet some of you this year!


Is anyone up for a run to Cheddar Gorge?
I was thinking of doing it on 3rd September

So I have stolen this from Grahams run he organised a couple of years ago ive just got to dig the route out which I have from before

from newlands corner with an early start , 7AM
128 miles outward & 128 miles back to liphook area.
but am open to ideas about start time
there is a cafe near the chew valley lake .

we do get to do the gorge 3 times

1, Matt H June or Sept
2, Tony B (aka. birthday boy) Sept preferred
3. Neil (Nash) Sept preferred
4. graham, got tobe june
5/ steve m, sept preferred, as june11 is my birthday
6. Tony H
7. BrianS
8. Andyf - perhaps add a couple of rendezvous points on the way for those who are further west.

10. Mike
11. Mark - june pref (might be worth thinking about a 1st official meet point further west to get in more good roads?)
12. Duncan prefer June if possible

15. Hammy (I'm with Any F and Mark ref the start RV)
16. ChrisL Poss, and would meet en-route - can someone send me the .itn?

Ok that will be great. We do have some local guys near there & I know there are some good roads from Chew valley Lake to Cheddar Gorge. I will ask them & keep you posted when you have a rough idea on your possible route.

There has been a slight change of plan for this run as David was organising a run down the same direction for the Haynes breakfast club we have decided to merge the two runs together on the 10th Sept
So anyone that still wants to do the run please put your names down on the Way out west - Haynes breakfast club thread
