I tried Jeff. Problem was about 50% of the shots from behind the start line were overexposed - a byproduct of me overriding the shutter speed to get some wheel spin. The ones a bit further up, by the pond for the last run, came out much better as you can see.

Absolutely, but not as much as the electric car.

The funnest was the demo run with your wife in the passenger seat.....I was egged on by the marshalls at the hairpin and slid it round with the tail out....only to be told off by the next marshall lol.

Top day, nice to see you all! That Renault Maxi Turbo is a mate of mine James who lives 2 miles up the road from me. It was built up by a pro rally team ( Ray Mallock or similar? ) from a "normal (?)" Turbo2 into a Jean Ragnotti Corsica Group B replica, all 1.4 litre 260bhp £40K of it.....

Looking at the organisers web site and some very recent postings on ‘Youtube’ I’m now really sorry I missed the event . Looks fantastic, especially with the sun beaming down! It’s on my wish list for next year already!
Great idea to have a club stand. That way we may be able to display our cars in the grounds and not the car park, as long as we don't mind getting there early and leaving late. Cheers, Karl

What a cracking weekend that was
I was officially shattered when I finally got home, but what a superb weekend of motor sport. I don't care I wasn't quick, but I sure had fun showboating for the crowd on the hairpin and I'm pretty sure they liked it when I went through the chicane backwards
David, no probs you didn't find me. You've caught a good photo of my car
Well done Jeff on beating me, next year I'll have you
