Gearbox has gone, again. Unfortunately it went while being driven by someone else at NW (we where double driving). It will be next year before it will be out and about again.

Very bad luck Jeff. Is there another option during the rebuild that will make it stronger or is it a budget issue?

I 'may' be in a position to test a prototype of a new HD Type 9 which should be good for 350 ft lb. Otherwise it will be get the BGH E8 rebuilt and stay away from North Weald (it has gone twice there). I can't justify the £7K+ for a Sequential box for a toy car. I could fix the existing box, sell the car for £14-15K and if you add the £7K you where going to spend on a Sequential end up with a very nice Radical SR3 or SR8....

I love the radical idea Jeff.
But what would you come on SKCC trips in?

That's quite a radical idea Mr W

Re: SKCC North Weald Car limits Fri 26h Sept
ish....I can get one for around £27K but it would be more likely that a SR3 or SR4 could be purchased and then the inevitable trip to TTS for the supercharger....
Anyway, have a great time on Friday and try not to break anything on all those bumps.
