French Weekend (22/23 Sep)

I'm needing my European kit car driving fix and, what with the spring and autumn rallyes by Grange aux Damiers no more, the other option is to organise something. So, this is what I'm thinking:
Saturday 22nd Sep
- Early crossing on Eurotunnel (about £130 return at the moment)
- Morning cross country run to La Coupole, or similar
- Lunch
- Afternoon cross country run to Saint Omer
- Dinner and drinks
- Hotel like La Sapaniere would be good as, even though out of town, they have a good bar and restaurant. Unfortunately sold out for that date. Or perhaps a location nearer to town centre, secure parking dependent. Assuming something around EUR75-100 region.
Sunday 23rd Sep
- Relaxed morning run along the coast, stopping for coffee and gateaux somewhere, some Atlantic Wall site to visit on the way?
- Lunch near to Calais, but out of town - have a place in mind, high up on the coastal road, with views to the White Cliffs (on a good day!).
- Mid-afternoon tunnel back to Folkstone
Would be a great intro for people that have not yet taken their kit abroad.
Mrs T and myself would likely do an overnight Friday down Folkstone way, so as to be break up the journey from home.
Does this sound interesting? If so, let me know and I'll start to make more definitive plans. Suggestions for cross country routes and hotels welcome. And if you want to branch off and do your own thing for part of the weekend, no problem.
Cheers,
David.
