Well I decided that turning up at the eurotunnel departure lounge in a rarely used car I had done min miles in for a weeks work of hard driving was probably not a good idea ( thanks for the prompt Kenton )
So I have spent the stoneleigh trip to knock out approx 400 miles and can confirm that
A, Dave now has a matching scratch on the other side of the nose cone
B, I may need to sell a kidney to pay for the fuel
C, The steering wheel / knee prix is doable but may try to make a spacer
D, Robin hoods suffer from cracker arch supports as well.
It’s all good and can’t wait for the off.
