Sit Rep: looking at Haynes website, they now have a motorbike meet on Sunday, so perhaps best if we target a new destination. Any ideas? If not, my suggested back up is breakfast at Compton Abbas airfield.

Good for me - and would prefer a 7.30 meet at the earliest if poss - I'm an hour from Blackbushe and I need SOME beauty sleep

Hi Neil, agreed you need all the beauty sleep you can get
No problem, let's say 07:30 start, Blackbushe to Compton Abbas. Just need to find some time to adjust the route and manage without Tyre that no longer works for me.

Any reason you start at Blackbushe? Why not Newlands or Horsham-way for a change? I'm sure that's closer for all of us.
I use the motorway to get to Blackbushe which is a tad dull...

Last time Blackbushe was western start point. Those from east had already grouped and picked us up on the way. Newlands or Horsham is east for us, so we be back-tracking. If easier, you could meet us around the M3/A303 junction area. After that it is all west.

Compton Abbas sounds like an excellent idea David. Not been there for a VERY long time!
